We’ve got more great junkyard inventory right here, and if you are a Chevy truck fan, then this one is for you. Chad at Nobody Elses Auto has a ton of great trucks in the yard, and if you are into these round body vintage Chevy and GMC trucks he’s got tons of projects and parts that will absolutely get you excited. We know, because we’ve been there several times and love going each and every time. This one here is ultra straight and solid and we dig it.

So check out this new truck and if you want it, or parts for some other project, hit up Chad at the number below.

Video Description:

This old Chevy is still in fairly decent shape. Considering what these old trucks went through back in the day, this truck managed to survive pretty well! It has some dings and dents here and there, but overall, this truck still looks good! This old truck performed her duties on a regular basis until and engine problem developed. The engine was torn down and repairs were in the works when the project was abandoned.

That’s how I found this one, literally put out to pasture until another day. This one just came in recently, so let’s go take a quick walk around this old Chevy!

If you like old cars, trucks, and automobilia, be sure to check out all of my other videos! Please subscribe so you can keep up with the new videos as I post them!

If you have questions about vehicles or parts, the only way to get a hold of me is to call me, 8 AM-8 PM CST, no texts, no e-mails, no messenger, no smoke signals, calls only.

If I don’t answer, I’m probably on the phone with someone else and if you don’t leave me a message, I just assume you’re another telemarketer trying to sell me an extended warranty! LOL!

If you comment, message, text, e-mail, etc., don’t expect me to find it and don’t expect an answer. Thanks for watching, Chad 620-786-4428

Whenever I hear people talking about how hard it is to find C10s, Squarebodies, and OBS trucks, it makes me shake my head because they are out there and plentiful. You have to remember, GM built millions and millions of each of these generations of GM trucks. That means that there are still jillions of them available for sale at every single level. So while it seems unlikely to find one in the kind of shape that Finnegan has found here, they are out there. So what’s it like driving a completely stock 1998 OBS GMC pickup cross country in 2024? Probably the same as it was when it was new.

Let’s see.

Video Description:

Episode 289 of Mike Finnegan’s Garage is a banger! I’m introducing a new project, exploring a spooky warehouse full of cool equipment while trying not to get killed, and driving cross country in a 26 year old truck. This was all made possible by the good people at Bling Sauce and its Platinum line of automotive detailing products. Bling Sauce is so excited about this project that the first 500 viewers who click here and use the promo code “FREEMIKE” will receive a sample pack of Leather Sauce, Secret Sauce and Trim Sauce: https://blingsauce.com/collections/au…

You ever sell a car to someone and tell them that if they ever decide to get rid of it they should call you first? Or just get a call one day from someone who owns one of your old cars and is wanting to unload it? Well that is exactly what happened to Newbern recently as his buddy Wesley decided that the 1955 Chevrolet 2-door post car he’d gotten from Dave was going to be more work than he really wanted to do, so a trade was made. What’s funny is that they actually have to start putting this car together just to get one off the trailer. I say one, because there is a lot more coming back to Newbern than left with the car originally.

Video Description:

On this Episode my friend Wesley Keyes brings a load of 55 Chevys to Georgia. I traded him one of these 55’s a year ago and he decided to let it go and offered it to me first. I ended up trading him my 1992 GMC Top Kick for my 55, a parts car and some other parts he had been collecting. Since I bought the C50 I completely lost interest in the Top Kick. It doesn’t leave without a fight though. The battery was junk, cables were fried and the starter was dead.

Check out the latest video in the series below and if you missed any of the previous videos, use the link below to check them out too.

It sure wasn’t pretty, but they got that part in the works and got some suspension under it, so now it is time to stuff some power into this beast. It’s time to build a burnout truck and that’s just what they are going to do. But not before some real work had to happen and part of that was getting this thing up in the air so they could start taking it apart and seeing what is going to need to be done to add some pretty back into the mix. With that sorted it is time to get cracking on some new parts going together and that means some cool stuff from QA1, and several other companies. In the case of the engine, they have chosen none other than Texas Speed and they’ve picked out something special to go under the hood.

Don’t worry, after that this thing is going to be getting all the go fast goodies it needs to successfully spin the tires at eleventy thousand miles per hour in pursuit of all the smoke and tire blowing applause. I mean what could possibly go wrong?

In the heart of Hesperia, California, a rust-covered gem lay waiting to be transformed into a roaring street racing legend. Rodger of Ironworks Speed and Kustom had just acquired the skeleton of a 1967 Camaro – a blank canvas that held the promise of being something truly extraordinary. Little did he know that this Camaro would not only undergo a remarkable transformation but also bear the stamp of a long-time Fairway GM dealership owner, Greg Heinrich.

As the story goes, Rodger’s phone rang on the way home from his Hesperia acquisition. It was Greg Heinrich, a loyal client of Rodger’s, who couldn’t contain his curiosity about the newly acquired Camaro. Greg was known for his affinity for Summit white, a classic GM color, earning it the affectionate nickname “Heinrich White” among his peers. The conversation that ensued was a mix of excitement, vision, and humor, as Rodger playfully joked about Summit White’s alternative moniker.

20/20 Vision

The vision for the Camaro began to take shape at the SEMA Show, where the LT4 engine was unveiled. Without hesitation, the decision was made to order one, along with GM’s eye-catching “self-illuminating bowtie,” which had generated quite a buzz. With these new acquisitions in hand, the stage was set to create a street race car that embodied the essence of power, speed, and handling— a vehicle that could easily land you in jail if pushed to its limits.

Ironworks Speed and Kustom, known for its innovative automotive creations, stepped in to turn this vision into reality. They introduced several groundbreaking features that set this Camaro apart from the rest. Machined engine bay parts, interior panels, and an extensive use of 3D-printed components brought a touch of innovation to the project. Sean Smith’s contribution to the interior design, including a magnet base panel, was a game-changer in the customization of the car’s interior.

Guts ‘n Glory

The aesthetics of the Camaro were equally as impressive as its engineering. A set of 19″ Forgeline monoblock wheels were selected to give the car a modern and aggressive appearance. Meticulous work was done to ensure perfect wheel fitment and be able to fit a 305/30/19 Michelin tire in the front and massive 345/30/19 Michelin tire in the rear.

Behind the Forgeline wheels are a set of Wilwood 14″ brakes with highlighter yellow calipers, reminiscent of Porsche Carrera design cues. These brakes compliment the wheels and suspension package.

Underneath its sleek exterior, this Camaro boasts Speedtech front and rear suspension, with a torque arm rear, and ridetech coilovers, ensuring a balance between comfort and high-performance handling.

The LT4 engine makes 640HP and 630 lb-ft. of torque right out of the box. Backing the powerhouse is a T56 transmission which offers buttery smooth shifts and double overdrives. All those ponies travel through a Gear FX Ford 9″ differential while a Rick’s Fuel Tank feeds the beast.

Finishing Touches

The Camaro’s interior received special attention with carbon fiber Sparco seats, painted and recovered by Sid Chavers, showcasing a distinctive Houndstooth interior design. The interior is right at home on the car show circuit, but it’s all business. The seats are designed to hold you in place during cornering.

Even something as simple as a door panel, Rodger went above and beyond. With help from Sean Smith, they created the first magnet base door panel. There’s no screws or janky clips holding the custom door panels on, it’s all done with magnets.

Dakota Digital Gauges, fitted within a custom billet gauge cluster, provided the driver with essential information in style. A Vintage Air AC system provided some comfort in the midst of the speed and adrenaline.

The Camaro’s front grille was custom-made, and the lower front valance was extended, not only for a distinctive appearance but also to accommodate a larger diameter fog light. The body was sprayed in Henrich’s favorite PPG Summit white paint, ensuring the car’s appearance was as stunning as its performance.

This masterpiece made its debut at the Mobil 1 booth at SEMA 2017, where it garnered the attention of General Motors and earned a GM Design Award. The 1967 Camaro, a symbol of precision engineering and craftsmanship, was not just a vehicle; it was an embodiment of Greg Heinrich’s vision and Rodger’s dedication to turning a rusty shell into a white-hot street racing marvel.

Now that Brent is done with the shape of the bed, he’s moving on to the rockers on this truck. Factory it would have come with running boards, and without them there is something missing on the side of the truck. But since it is going to be sitting flat on the ground when parked, he’s wondering if there is really any reason for them. Instead he’s trying out some custom rockes/side skirts. But he can’t decide whether they are right or not. Watch and let us know what you think. Should he keep them, or go for running boards?

This project is one that Brent has had sitting around for some time and has just been waiting to get back onto it. It isn’t your average 1949 GMC, as it is mounted on a modified Caprice chassis and has had the top chopped off of it. The plan is for it to have a removable Carson style top, lots of custom metal work, and more. It’s going to be a full custom style ride but that means it needs A LOT of work. One thing I find funny is that while in most circumstances you want to start a project with the cleanest and straightest ride you can, but when you are building a custom that is going to get a lot of custom metal work anyway, then why not start with something rough? This truck certainly qualifies.

In previous videos, Brent pancaked the hood on this thing, modified the fenders, planned out the bumper, shortened the chassis, shaved stuff, built a one off custom bed and more. There is a lot going on with this project and a lot planned for this thing, although to say that might make you think there is a whole list of what is going to happen to it. But that isn’t exactly Brent’s speed. He works as he goes, tries stuff to see how it looks, and will cut and weld and remove and replace, until it has the look he wants. We love it and it is inspiring.

Mortske is usually buying barn finds and old hot rod projects, not supercharged combos like this. I mean this thing looks like it’s nearly ready to race! Okay, so maybe it’s not a hard core race car, but it is the most expensive and bad ass engine combo that he’s ever bought, and definitely the most expensive. So watch this project hopefully come back to life, because it has been sitting for some time.

Video Description:

I recently found what I thought was a pretty good deal on a 1941 Chevrolet coupe with a low mile Supercharged engine in it and an upgraded chassis. Now I’ve wanted an engine with a blower on it for quite sometime so I had to check it out for the drivetrain alone. After sitting for many years can we get this engine to run once more? Or did I buy a boat anchor? Lets find out! The car has been sold! The engine is not for sale at this time. As always, thanks for watching!

Dan is back at it with another Camaro update. He’s run out of parts so other stuff is on order, so he’s deciding on what can go under the hood.

When you get a Camaro project, you care a bit less about the rust when it comes with a bunch of new replacement panels. After all, when you’ve got all those parts sitting in the garage you are all done but the doing it right? It’s 2/3 built when the parts are all there. Or at least that’s what we tell ourselves don’t we? Well this video has Dan fitting a bunch of those new parts to see if they are actually going to solve his problems or just cause more.

Everyone knows Dan from DD Speed Shop for all his Tri-Five Chevrolet builds but did you guys know he has a couple of First Gen Camaros? Yep, and he’s saving one that is all full of rust. It’s like Dan just can’t keep from cutting off rust and welding on new, or at least better, sheet metal. We don’t understand his passion for this kind of punishment, but love him for saving great cars. We’re all in the same boat with the same sickness.

Disc brakes and tubular control arms are in the mail. New quarter panels and wheel tubs have been ordered. But most importantly! We have a drive line picked out! Did you guess right?

Here’s the twenty third video of Steve’s Truck series! This time it’s all about the famed C10 Chevrolet. There is a 1967 Model in the junkyard that has some cool options and a cool payload. Watch and if you missed the previous videos use the link below.

Our friend Steve Magnante has been out of commission for a few months as he’s literally been fighting for his life from a bad brain infection, but he’s back! You may know Steve from all his years in the magazine world where he wrote for a ton of great magazines like Hot Rod and Car Craft, but in recent years he’s been the rain man of muscle car and classics knowledge on Barrett-Jackson’s TV auction shows. He’s also been making great YouTube content of his own, walking through junkyards full of great finds and sharing all the info on cool old rides.

Thankfully, he had great doctors who didn’t give up on him even after putting him, and I’m so thrilled to say that he is in fact on the mend and working at getting back to his normal self.

I first met Steve more than 20 years ago on Hot Rod Power Tour and was lucky enough to work with him a few times over the years. He’s a real treasure, one hell of a guy, and I can’t tell you how happy it makes me to be sharing these videos with you now.

Video Description:

This 1967 Chevy C10 was the first year for a thorough redesign that transformed Chevy pickup trucks into daily drivers – and not just work horses. Add the first-year Custom Sport Truck (CST) option and you even get bucket seats and chrome trimmed pedals. But what’s up with the heart transplant? And is that really a vintage Honda CB200T motorcycle in the bed? Watch and find out!
