This little box here is a game changer! If you are someone who’s got a muscle car, street machine, classic truck, or custom, and you are doing a Holley EFI swap but don’t want to put a flat screen lcd screen in your dash because you prefer the look of real gauges, this is going to be your dream box. In the past, if you wanted to run “traditional” gauges with your EFI equipped ride you would need to have multiple sending units on the engine because the EFI computer would need one and so would your gauge. In some cases you might literally have two of each kind of sending unit which just makes for more work, expense, chance of failure, etc. But with this cool setup from Classic, you can pull all the data you need from the ECU of your Holley EFI and then send that info straight to your favorite Classic Instruments so that you get all your engine vitals on the gauges you know and love.

Classic Instruments Releases Zeus-Link Gauge Interface Module
Boyne City, MI, March 20th, 2024 — Classic Instruments is pleased to announce the release of an all-new CAN
module, Zeus-Link. Zeus-Link is an all-inclusive gauge interface unit that can connect to Holley ECU’s
(Dominator, HP, Terminator X, Terminator X Max, Sniper and Sniper II) and to GM OBDII ports, reading vehicle data
from CAN BUS to drive any Classic Instruments gauges accurately. Additional pass-through CAN port connection for
other CAN devices. Customers can connect up to 6 standard gauges and 2 auxiliary gauges using all sender inputs
or none. All instruments can be driven traditionally if the vehicle ECU does not support an output the driver wants
to monitor. The unit features warning and check engine light outputs, dash light connection and on-board
diagnostic lights to give status of power, BLE, and data. For maximum compatibility with Holley products, there is
an additional resistor available if there are other CAN devices on the same harness and the Holley harness has an
additional Holley ECU connector for other devices.

The entire unit is setup and managed through an app available on the App Store® or Google Play®. Configure which
gauges are in the dash, how each gets its signal, view values being received by Zeus-Link, and verify correct
outputs and wiring all through the app.

A properly functioning crankcase ventilation system is key to making sure your engine stays a happy camper. They do not cost horsepower, are simple and clean and are the system I recommend for anyone that isn’t building a race car. Cookeville, TN (January 18, 2024) – American Powertrain, the nation’s leading distributor of TREMEC^® transmissions, now offers a TREMEC GM Magnum XL 6-speed transmission conversion kit for any 2010-2015 5^th Gen Camaro (SS) equipped with a V8 engine. This kit can be purchased with a choice of two gear sets as a replacement for the TR-6060 and is rated at over 700 lbs/ft torque with close to 8,000 RPM shift capacity. Developed as a performance upgrade, the Magnum XL transmission features a direct mounted shifter that replaces the old 6060 shifter linkage to improve shifting for lightning-fast gearing and acceleration. Making it ideal for performance street applications and racing.

American Powertrain’s new conversion kit includes an aluminum LS bellhousing, clutch kit, and bolt-in OE style hydraulic bearing with a correct fitting to the OE master cylinder, speedo harness, reverse lockout and back-up light harnesses, White Lightning shifter with the correct shifter offset to fit the factory shifter opening, 1350 yoke, rear driveshaft flange adapter, new driveshaft, crossmember spacers and transmission mount. Optional parts include a Scattershield, Billet steel or aluminum flywheel, twin disk clutch, extreme upgrade for the Magnum up to 1100 lbs/ft of torque, and shifter ball and handle.

The MAGNUM XL transmission with its extra-long tail housing is an aftermarket version of the TR-6060 that was widely used in modern muscle cars. The XL with its longer tail housing moves the shifter over 8” back from the original Magnum’s rear location. It has a unique shift isolator that improves dampening for a smooth precision shift feel and a rigid direct-mount shifter for quick, crisp shifting. Either gear set, part numbers, TUET18131 and TUET18132, can be paired with the American Powertrain’s Magnum XL conversion kit.

Earl’s Weld-less Fuel Return Fitting: Do It Right And Do It Easy! Because Adding Fittings To A Fuel Tank Doesn’t Have To Suck

When you make a change to your project’s fuel system and have to add a return to the stock tank, that can be a royal pain when access is limited to the inside of the tank, etc. Welding is an option, but requires removing and cleaning the tank in order to keep from blowing yourself up, and if you aren’t precise with your welding then you end up with leaks. Or there is drilling a hole and installing a bulkhead fitting, but that requires you to be able to reach into the tank to install the washer and nut and hold it tight while tightening the outside half of the fitting. But there are better and easier ways!

Check out this new Earl’s weld-less fuel return fitting because this thing requires drilling a hole and tightening up a bolt. That’s it. It creates a permanent, sealed, simple, return line that works like a champ. I dig it.

This ingenious design eliminates the need for access to the inside of your fuel tank or fuel cell to install a return fuel fitting. Our low-profile fitting is machined out of 6061 Billet Aluminum and is recommended for use with steel and aluminum tanks with walls up to 1/8″ thick.

We located the -6 orb port at a 90 degree angle in relation to the return tube. This configuration offers for more flexibility and increased clearance. Each kit includes an oversized Viton Sealing Washer, Hex Head Screw with Steel Washer, -6AN Low Profile Port Plug with Viton O-Ring, and two tube options (a Fixed and a Flexible Nylon).

The Eral’s fitting and related components are all suitable for use with gasoline and E85 fuels.
