Ridetech is pleased to announce their adjustable coilover and air suspension systems are now available for the Dodge Charger, Challlenger, Magnum and Chrysler 300C. Both coilover and air suspension systems are worthy upgrades for the popular, long-running platform.

These systems provide an aggressive yet functional muscle car stance. A first for Ridetech, both coilover and air systems now feature a rubber isolated spherical bearing design that minimizes NVH noises commonly associated with performance oriented suspension systems.

This additional compliance strikes a happy medium for those who want all the performance benefits of an adjustable suspension without sacrificing ride quality or comfort. As such, they are equally at home applying Gen III Hemi power to the pavement at the drag strip, autocross, track day, or a spirited drive carving corners on canyon roads.

Both coilover and air systems are sporting a fresh new look, featuring black and gray anodized finishes that pair nicely with the rest of the hardware. Fine-tuning of suspension responsiveness is accomplished via the 24-position rebound adjustable HQ series coilovers with Fox Factory valving and internals.

While these two systems are the first to release for these applications, Ridetech’s triple-adjustable TQ-series coilovers for dedicated track builds are coming soon. Stay tuned!

This little box here is a game changer! If you are someone who’s got a muscle car, street machine, classic truck, or custom, and you are doing a Holley EFI swap but don’t want to put a flat screen lcd screen in your dash because you prefer the look of real gauges, this is going to be your dream box. In the past, if you wanted to run “traditional” gauges with your EFI equipped ride you would need to have multiple sending units on the engine because the EFI computer would need one and so would your gauge. In some cases you might literally have two of each kind of sending unit which just makes for more work, expense, chance of failure, etc. But with this cool setup from Classic, you can pull all the data you need from the ECU of your Holley EFI and then send that info straight to your favorite Classic Instruments so that you get all your engine vitals on the gauges you know and love.

Classic Instruments Releases Zeus-Link Gauge Interface Module
Boyne City, MI, March 20th, 2024 — Classic Instruments is pleased to announce the release of an all-new CAN
module, Zeus-Link. Zeus-Link is an all-inclusive gauge interface unit that can connect to Holley ECU’s
(Dominator, HP, Terminator X, Terminator X Max, Sniper and Sniper II) and to GM OBDII ports, reading vehicle data
from CAN BUS to drive any Classic Instruments gauges accurately. Additional pass-through CAN port connection for
other CAN devices. Customers can connect up to 6 standard gauges and 2 auxiliary gauges using all sender inputs
or none. All instruments can be driven traditionally if the vehicle ECU does not support an output the driver wants
to monitor. The unit features warning and check engine light outputs, dash light connection and on-board
diagnostic lights to give status of power, BLE, and data. For maximum compatibility with Holley products, there is
an additional resistor available if there are other CAN devices on the same harness and the Holley harness has an
additional Holley ECU connector for other devices.

The entire unit is setup and managed through an app available on the App Store® or Google Play®. Configure which
gauges are in the dash, how each gets its signal, view values being received by Zeus-Link, and verify correct
outputs and wiring all through the app.

One of the issues with swapping a late model engine into an earlier model chassis is fitting all the extras. Why is this thing a secret? Well, mostly because Milwaukee has been pushing it towards one particular industry and nobody else was paying attention. But that is about to change. What we have here is a cordless impact gun that can be controlled via your phone. Why would you want to do that? Well, with the control you can choose how much power it has for loosening and tightening, but more importantly it allows you to choose a torque value to maximize it at. That means that you could set this thing to do exactly the right number of uga duggas, and the exact torque you want the fasteners to be at, and then just hit the trigger. LS Head Bolts? No problem. Mains? No problem. Whatever you want to tighten again and again, it will handle.

There’s more to it, and we’ll let the Torque Test Channel explain. It ain’t cheap either, but that probably won’t stop some of you from getting one anyway.

Disposable Car Covers? Dude, You Need These In Your Shop! Keep Grinding Dust, Dirt, And Everything Else Off Your Rides!

Okay, this one struck me as really smart and I think you’ll agree. There is nothing worse than working in the garage or shop all day only to look over and see that whatever you are working with has made a huge mess all over your pride and joy. Whether you are grinding on some metal, cutting metal, working on the honey do list, or whatever, it seems like you always end up with a nice coat of crap all over everything else in the garage. If you had some cheap and easy car covers that you could put over the car while you worked in the garage, it sure would save a lot of cleanup and potentially save from hurting the paint. And before you go and say something about the real car cover you use, think about it for a second. Do you really want grinding dust and overspray and whatever on your nice car cover?

The answer is “Hell no!”

For $27 on Amazon you get four of these disposable covers, and I think that sounds like a great deal. If you have a project you would like to keep from getting covered in who knows what, you just might need some of these. This is better than draping a blue tarp over them, that’s for sure. With that said, I wouldn’t leave one of these on for long term, because I wouldn’t want condensation to be an issue, but to cover things up while you work on them, this seems smart. And if you paint inside your garage, these would be great not only to cover other cars, but also to cover up tool boxes and whatever else you need to keep from being covered in overspray.

I dig them.
